Spantech are pleased to announce that we now have UK based service capabilities for the ACD PPM gas generators, with Richard Dance of Paragon Electronics.
Richard has been working with these types of generators for over 15 years and is factory trained to support and calibrate all ACD units. It is hoped that this will cut down the need to return units to the US for service and drastically decrease downtime for customers by turning systems around quicker. Richard is also on hand for customer support and application advice for our users, reducing the need to have support from the US, and again decreasing downtime.
Richard is based just outside Canterbury in Kent.
Richard’s background: MOD trained instrument engineer. "Upon leaving the MOD, I spent 14 years working in Defence Electronics manufacturing; initially in quality assurance and then running production and test departments. As well as supplying our own products (mainly Marine VHF, HF and MF communications equipment) we also manufactured MOD VHF communications equipment and radars for parent group companies. I started my own electronics manufacturing company some 25 years ago and 15 years ago started to manufacture, repair and calibrate GazCals on a sub-contract basis. I then acquired the manufacturing rights to the GazCal and continue to service clients direct and through distributors, leading to our association with Spantech."
